Calling all mini makers! Join us to learn to sew by hand for this 4 week course!
Children will learn to sew in a fun, safe environment with the support of two instructors. Build skills and confidence while creating handmade items to take home. No experience necessary!
Projects will include:
- Fabric "yoyos" or "pinwheels": kids can decorate these, make garlands with them, or use them as a decoration on another project;
- felt bag, with or without a shoulder strap;
- 2-dimensional needle felted animal or or other shapes, which can be added to a garland or used as a decoration on their bag project;
- Hand-sewn sock or felt creatures!
Skill Level: Beginner (Ages 6-8)
Group size: Maximum 6 students, to keep our class cozy and fun!
