Come make a wallet with Mandy of Sugar & Candy! The Minimalist Wallet from Noodlehead is a perfectly drafted pattern that is not only beautiful when finished, but incredibly utilitarian. This wallet pattern comes in two sizes, but both include an interior zipped pocket for coins and/or folded up bills. Both sizes are surprisingly quick to sew, and if you're speedy, you may have time to make 2 in this class. Leather scraps will be provided if desired for the snap tab, but fabric is just as pretty and functional.

Skill Level: Intermediate
Skill requirements:
- Advanced Beginner classes plus several completed items.
- Experience successfully completing several sewing projects. This class will not cover basic sewing machine operations such as threading a needle, switching needles, how to adjust stitch length, locking stitches, reverse stitching, pivoting corners, winding bobbins etc. Students should be capable of performing these procedures without assistance.
Must be aged 16+

- ¼ yard (or fat quarter) Exterior Fabric
- ¼ yard (or fat quarter) Accent Fabric
- ¼ yard Fusible Woven Interfacing (Pellon SF101 - 20” wide)
- 4 ½” tall x 7 ½” wide {3 1/4" tall x 4 1/2" wide} rectangle Medium-weight Fusible Interfacing (Pellon 809)
- 7” {4”} all-purpose zipper*
- (2) size 24 metal snaps {(1) size 16 or 20 metal snap}
- (optional) leather for Snap Tab approx. 2” x 8” {2” x 5”} rectangle
*PLEASE NOTE: this pattern is written and drafted for fixed-length zippers (not zipper by the yard)
Recommended Fabrics:
Quilting cotton for exterior and accent fabric. (You can also use lighter weight canvas, waxed canvas, medium weight linen, lightweight denim for exterior!)
