Join our newest Sewcial to share bag-making ideas and work on your own project with other sewists in a fun, relaxed atmosphere.
This sewcial will be hosted by none other than Mandy of Sugar And Candy Designs (@sugarandcandy)! Mandy has been making bags of all kinds for over 15 years. She brings extensive experience in drafting her own patterns, as well as making many other bag designers’ patterns.
General Info
Our Sewcials are informal gatherings in which community members sew together and encourage each other in their work. They are hosted by community members who can provide you with some guidance for your project. Please note, however, that Sewcials are not formal classes.
You will need to bring or purchase all your materials, but you can use the equipment and tools that live in the studio. You are welcome to bring your own machine if you wish.
Tea is included and guests are welcome to bring in snacks!
You must have basic sewing machine skills to join our Sewcials. If you are hoping to use a serger, coverstitch or industrial machine you must have past experience using one. If you want to use one of these machines, but have never used one before, please make sure to book a private lesson in advance!
