Join us for an all-day in-town Sewing Retreat and support The Makehouse Co-op Team!
We are so happy to be able to host you for a day of sewing, fun, and food! You will join a group of sewists in a relaxed atmosphere to share ideas and make progress on your sewing projects.
These retreats are for sewists aged 16+ who are comfortable working independently on their projects. Our Studio Manager, Tanya, is volunteering her time to host and will be on hand to provide you with some help with a project if you need it.
We are offering a sliding scale of payment options. If you're able, please consider paying a higher rate. We are trying to raise money to ensure that we can pay staff, our rent and other expenses until we wrap up at 2950 Douglas St.
This retreat will be taking place at The Dock Centre for Social Impact, which is located at 722 Cormorant Street (Cormorant and Douglas Streets). Limited paid street parking is available in front of the building.
You provide:

We will provide:

- Catered lunch (variety of options will be available for different dietary needs)
- Tea, coffee & treats
