Tanya with her extensive and professionally trained sewing experience of over 25 years & over 15 years of teaching experience, can help you!
Tanya teaches students from ages 8 and up of ANY skill level.
She has a particular interest in teaching the following skills:
- Intermediate to advanced sewing
- Serger/Overlock or cover stitch machine tutorials
- Pattern/fit adjustments
- Alterations and tailoring
- Sewing knits
- Dress form building/adjustments
- Draping (3D pattern making w/ fabric)
- Fashion school portfolio preparation
- Basic lingerie (underwear and non-wired bras)
- Swimwear
The following is what Tanya would not be able to help you with:
- Upholstery
- Advanced lingerie (wired bras)
**Tanya's teaching schedule does fill up fast, so if you are looking for a beginner sewing lesson you can book with Heather!
Private lessons are booked in one hour blocks. If you want to book a two-hour lesson, you will need to select two back-to-back sessions.
