Come and make the Athena Zero Waste top with us! This is a new and exciting introduction to Zero Waste by Nike from Shifty Mother. The Athena top is a great piece for your core self made wardrobe, versatile and easy to layer.
The Athena ZW top is maternity friendly as it is open to the sides. It features side fasteners that easily adjust to accommodate your shifty shapes. This pattern is great for a medium weight woven linen or cotton.

Experience successfully completing several sewing projects. This class will not cover basic sewing machine operations such as threading a needle, switching needles, how to adjust stitch length, locking stitches, reverse stitching, pivoting corners, winding bobbins etc. Students should be capable of performing these procedures without assistance.

You must have familiarity with using a sewing pattern, measuring yourself and picking an appropriate size

Have experience working with a serger or zig zag stitch.

- Medium weight woven linen or cotton. Click here for options!
** Please note - the measurements below are the amounts that will be cut for each size. You will have enough fabric to make 2 tops. If you purchase fabric that is 60" wide, you will have some more left over fabric for another garment. When buying your fabric, purchase the length amount, you do not need to worry about the width.
- XS: 1.53 m long and 52 cm wide

- L: 1.59 m long and 62 cm wide
