Do you have a mending pile that’s gathering dust? Come learn how to do some basic mending in this two-hour workshop with Mina Hiebert. Together we’ll cover: how to fix a hole in a seam, attach a button, and patch a hole. This is a beginner-friendly, hand-sewing workshop, so no need to have any sewing machine skills. You’ll leave with some hand-stitching skills, a mini mending kit to keep, and more confidence to begin your personal practice of tending to your clothes.
Mending is a great way to care for our clothes, reduce our environmental impact, and put our own personal flair on our clothing! All materials will be provided, so just bring yourself and whatever it is you’d like to mend.
Skill Level: Beginner
Skill requirements: There are no prerequisites for this class; no sewing experience is necessary.
