The pattern offers several different waist and hip heights, so you can adjust the pattern to accommodate the width of lace you are using. Other suitable fabrics include any of the cottons, such as Cotton jersey, Cotton Spandex, or Active Cotton, as well as nylon/spandex blends such as the Microfibre Tricot and the shiny Tricot Knit.
View 1 – all fabric
.5 m of knit fabric with at least 50% stretch in the crosswise grain such as cotton/spandex, nylon/spandex or polyester/spandex blends
A small piece of cotton for the gusset approximately 2″ x 6″ (5 x 15 cm)
1.5 m of ⅜” or ½“ (10-13 mm) elastic for the waist
View 2 – all lace edging
1.5 m of lace edging 6-10″ wide (15-25 cm) with at least 50% stretch along the scalloped edge

View 3 – fabric with lace edging at the waist and hip
